SAP Group Reporting - Consolidation Frequency Yearly

Dear expert,

I set the consolidation frequency as Yearly

Why does the system allow me to select individual months in Data Monitor?
Is this correct?
In addition, can you confirm that after setting yearly conso frequency and running release universal journal the system is loading full year YTD in ACDOCU?

cons. frequency assignment to consolidation group (in t-code CX1Q) does NOT impact task "executability" in cons. monitor at all. So, you rely on the period category (when assigning task group to dimension) to control task "executability" in cons. monitor.
