SAP FIORI APP upgrade impact analysis

Hi,

We have upgraded SAP S/4HANA (Sandbox) from 1909 to 2023 FPS2. As we went through the post checks, we have found the following issue.

Made a spot check of F0928A which according to the analysis should not be available. This turned out not to be true, also the Readiness check report did not contain information about the app being unavailable.

• Fiori apps extracted from our roles and analyzed in the Fiori upgrade impact analysis tool as provided by SAP
• A list of 41 unavailable APPs identified
• Random APP amongst the 41 checked in our system and is still seemingly working just fine.

Questions:

• Are the APPs in the list still available but “not recommended”?
• Is the list not accurate, “false positives”?

Please note that the upgrade impact analysis tool is provided to make the upgrade process easier.

App F0928A is deprecated as of SAP S/4HANA 2023 and should not be used.

This is also explained in KBA 3574080 - SAP Fiori Upgrade Impact Analysis Report Showing Deprecated/Unavailable Features as Available.

Please keep in mind that all the information about apps in the App Library is provided by the App Teams, not the Fiori Launchpad Team.

Thus, any further questions you need to ask for specific apps need to be addressed to the respective teams, which for F0928A is CO-FIO-BPC-IS.

The tool should not return false positives, but it is entirely dependent on the information published in the Fiori Apps Library by the App Teams.
