Hi,
I understand that the SAP ECTR client temporarily stores locally in the working directory of the client workstation a copy of the file/document locally in the client in the check-out and check-in process.
We have a security requirement to encrypt files stored locally (at rest) on the client workstation, even though they are only temporarily stored.
Does SAP have a method to implement encryption on the file at rest? If there is none, is there a roadmap to to build this feature?
Thanks!

Hello Laser,
encrypting local files on your hard drive is done by your operating system, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/security/operating-system-security/data-protection/bitlock...
Hope this helps.
Regards,
Gerhard
