SAP Business One Sales - Services App - How to configure in SQL

Hello there.

Since patch 10.0 FP2022 or similar, native Sales and Services apps for both Android and iOS can be used in SQL Server installations.

I have tried to find documentation on how to configure it or where, but I can't find anything clear about it.

It only uses the integration frameword - B1iServer entry called B1A Server and that the same certificate generated in the mobile App that we knew until now would be valid.

Does anyone have any document or link to documentation to know what needs to be parameterized or configured to be able to use them on a SQL Server system?

From what I have read, it uses the service layer or needs it to be active, but it is not clear to me what needs to be configured, or where, or how.

Thanks in advance.

I have read notes, user guides, etc.. but I have not yet found how to configure it in SAP (Sld, Integration, in the app itself...).
In fact, the test or demo system does not work.

From what I have read, the same certificate that is generated for the standard SAP Business One mobile app does not work, the Sales and Services app come with another certificate that comes from when the installation is done, which usually uses a self-signed certificate.

Another conclusion I draw is that at some point you have to configure an external access that allows entry, that is, another redirection of a public IP to communicate ports, but I have not found any example.

The administrator guide talks about 2 methods to do this, reverse proxy or nat/pat, but it is also not clear to me what I have to request from my IT department and the internet provider.

In the configuration of the app on the mobile, you have to enter a url, port and a user, which I have not found any specific example either.

I will try to review more links that I find, since some are also in the channel partner and the end customers do not have access to them.

My final conclusion is that for these apps to work, a special external access must be configured, which I feel has to be aligned as if we were going to allow the Web client to connect from the outside.

Hello,

Configuration of Sales app on B1 SQL is very simple; install the app on mobile phone, open it and input Web server address and Port, once you configured your SAP Business One with a public domain name and a trusted certificate

Don't consult with SAP Note #3110082 - SAP Business One Sales or SAP Business One Service mobile app requires a valid S.... the provided solution is not good for security and user experience.

It would be good to use a reverse proxy solution to serve as a single endpoint exposed to internet behind all the SAP Business One Services and MS SQL in the private network.

For more detail, refer to my blog and enclosed webinar link there.

The suggested solution is not only for the web client but also for modernizing SAP Business One landscape.
