Dear Experts,
We are using SAP B1 9.3 (SAP Cloud) and I found some interesting behavior that I have never seen before.
I saw that I can go into negative Inventory when I use a Inventory Transfer, EVEN though I have the Document Settings < 'Block Negative Inventory By' set to 'Company'.
Here is some trouble shooting I did:
I'm at a loss and want to check with the forum if I'm missing something before I send this to SAP as a 'bug'.
Regards,
Marli

Hi,
This part is the problem:
I saw that I can go into negative Inventory when I use a Inventory Transfer, EVEN though I have the Document Settings < 'Block Negative Inventory By' set to 'Company'.
Since you are blocking negative stock on company level, the system will not stop you from having negative stock in single warehouse as long as your stock is >= 0 on all warehouses combined. Unlike AR Invoice, inventory transfer doesn't change total stock on company level, it just moves it between warehouses.
If you want to block negative inventory for each warehouse, you need to set that option in Document Settings.

Dear Hrvoje,
Thank you for the Insight. I will change this to 'Per Warehouse' and test again.
BUT the Inventory Transfer that I did, were for an Item that had 0 qty in ALL the Warehouses. Please see screenshot attached.

Marli
As I said, blocking negative inventory on company level only works when combined quantity on all warehouses is <0. In your example that is not the case, since combined quantity is =0 even if some individual warehouses are <0.
If you were blocking negative inventory by warehouse, you wouldn't be able to create inventory transfer because one of your warehouses would have inventory <0.
