Dear All,

Our HO is located in Mumbai where Server is installed. Our factory located at Chiplun. Users connect via RDP on server via internet.

Problem is, there is frequent disconnection of internet at both ends.

Is it possible with Leased Line (Data) to connect two locations in LAN? Further, do SAP B1 support such communication.

Please guide us.

Hi,

Lease line is not good enough for B1. You need one of two supported remote connection platform. One is Terminal Server, the other is Citrix Server.

Thanks,

Gordon

Thanks.

We are using Windows Terminal Server with terminal licences. We have good bandwidth at present.

Let me elaborate a little bit. Problem is: internet connection is not stable at both ends. Remote Desktop connection looses connectivity frequently.

Now,

Please correct me if anywhere I'm wrong. I'm from Non IT background.

1) SAP Client works in LAN.

2) Leased Line (Data only) connects two locations in LAN.

With Leased line option will SAP Client connect to serve directly?

HI

You can set the VPN connectivity for that?

LAN will work on Inttranet...

HI

Welcome to the forum.

As per my knowledge

Citrix is the best environment for the good connections.

If you are using windows server, you can go for Terminal services which also serves better but high bandwidth should be allocated on both ends..
