SAP Asset Manager(SAM) - Map section is Blank White screen in Android devices only

Hi,

We have configured SAM 2110 and done required GIS Configuration in config panel.

The ESRI Map is loading in IOS Device, but not in the Android Device, as its showing a blank white screen in Android devices as shown in the screenshots. We are using the latest SAM Client from Playstore(2205.0.3).

However, with older SAM Client 2105.0.0, Map is working in Android device too, however, when we select any equipment in Map, the application crashes.

Are we missing anything while using the latest SAM Client 2205.0.3 wrt GIS Integration?

Is it mandatory to Brand SAM Client for ESRI Integration? Please suggest.

it is likely that the extension is not built for Android. You can always built the branded client without Map extension if you dont need Map or just build iOS client with map or vice versa.

We would like to enable Map for Android. I believe, the standard Map Extension control should work for both Android and IOS, right?

In IOS devices, I could see, Map is getting loaded nicely with Latest SAM Client.

Can I make it work in Android too, in similar way?

Yes, if the extensions are built for both iOS and Android then they should display in the same way. Need to investigate further as to why it will show blank

we have raised an incident as well for further investigation. Is there a way to speed up the process, as this issue is a blocker for us.

i have the same issue currently also only for Android, but with 2105 and all MDK 6.x and 23.x Versions.

Did you find a solution for this?
