SAP Asset Manager enhancement guide for custom requirements

Hi All,

I am working on SAP Asset Manager application.

Based on the blogs, component installation guide , Upgrade guide, and training in SAP learning hub, I know the process to enhance SAP Asset Manager MDK application which works fine.

However is there any enhancement guide from SAP that shows the process so as to tell that we are following the standard enhancement approach recommended by SAP.

Please share if we have any such document or link

Hi Rohit,

No, there is no guide from SAP which talks about the MDK developments.

However as per the earlier documents which we followed , this is the overview of how to customize, this is verified by SAP as also

• No changes are done in standard metadata
• Create a new project for your custom changes
• Create the integrator (.cim) file where the source (ZProject ) is mapped with the target ( standard) files ( ONLY those files which has some custom enhancement over the standard files)

Could you please share some steps how to achieve the app enhancement it via screenshot please. We have some requirement to add some validation in standard SSAM app without changing standard code.
