SAP Asset Manager 2205 - initial sync issue -problem in openSyncSession

Hello Everyone,

I am doing the SAP Asset Manager 2205 configurations, but I am getting the initial sync error with

Finished sending POST request to back end group.com:8001/sap/opu/odata/merp/SAP_SRV_ASSET_MANAGER_2205/OpenSyncSession?SAPProductTechName='SAP_SERVICE_ASSET_MANAGER' in 411 ms. HTTP status from the back end is 400.

I already did initial stapes that:
1 activated the 2205 OData service and BC sets

2 Configuring the SAP Cloud Platform

3 2205 Metadata imported and deploy in Cloud Mobile service.

After installing Asset Manager and scanning the QR code, I get the error "initial sync failed."

With the error :

Could you please help me in this.

Hi Priya,

Is the principal propagation setup done correctly?

Are you able to test the connection from Mobile services and does that work fine?

If yes, did you run the gateway traces and do you see any request running into errors?

Hi Prashanthi,

Yes, the principle of propagation is set up properly also SAM 1911 is working for me ,

I also checked and tested the connection from Mobile Services, and it is working fine.

Run the gateway trace and get this error.

Hi Priya,

As mentioned by Prashanthi, are you able to call the Offline service via the mobile services destination test?
=>Native/MDk => <AppName> => Open feature: Mobile connectivity => select the test action beside the Offline PROP service.
- Does this execute succesffully, can you call the metadata and some entity sets?

Can you also check the Service URL does not end with a '/' in the SAP Mobile Services destination config.

Also, Have you implemented all the recommended SAP notes for SSAM 2205 on your system?

Hi James,

Yes, I am able to call the offline service and have also tested with the metadata and with entity set.

And also no '/' at the end of the URL.

About the SAP notes I did not find any notes related to this issue. If I miss something, could you recommend it to me?

There are a number of mandatory SAP Notes that are needed as part of the initial configuration for each SAP Service and Asset Manager application version. see the above link for the list of 2205 relevant notes, depending on you system version aply the relivant notes.
