Same bank account numbers with different with control key

Hi all

Our client required that same bank account number(BANKN) with different control key(BKONT)

(In Japan, sometimes we open multiple bank accounts, which are used for various purpose.)

e.g.(Same company code)

House bank, Bank key, Bank name, Account ID,Bank account number,Control key,

①TEST1, 1000000, "TEST BANK",ACC01,2000000,01

②TEST1, 1000000, "TEST BANK",ACC02,2000000,02

From Fiori, we tried to make these records, but duplication error has occurred.

In T012K, TBL Key are MANDT,BUKRS,HBKID,HKTID...why the error occurs??

Does anyone know similar situations or solutions?

Hi Yuji,

I am not familiar JP bank. But on my experience, I came across different currency in the same bank sharing the same bank account number. So we have same company code, same house bank but different account ID due to different currency.

I guess your duplication error is due to these 3 fields are same.

Thanks for your answering. It was exactly what you said.

Same currency,same account number and different account ID is ideal, but it is not allowed on SAP.

We will discuss with our client.
