Hi All
When we use CPQ, it allows defining ad-hoc "bundles" of products together so that a better price can be offered to the system. However, when a customer order is transacted in the system, SAP expects the "header" of the bundled product to be a pre-defined material number.
How is a typical integration ( e.g. salesforce CPQ ) is managed with SAP so that such "bindles" can be managed in SAP to be used in customer orders ? Typically, the sales and revenue are managed at the "component" level instead of a header material. How is this integration managed ?
Would appreciate your valuable insights

Hi Pranay
The scenario is that there is an adhoc group of products that are bundled in Salesforce and needs to be pushed into SAP for order processing. If this is an adhoc bundle, the challenge would be to have a header material in SAP for a LUMF scenario already defined so that it can accept the pricing and the bundle defined in SAP.
If a group of materials are "grouped" together in an external CPQ system like Salesforce, how would SAP now use that in sales orders that a customer would place in the SAP system ?

Hi Rohit - it will depend on how you setup the material in SAP. How will you want the services selected in CPQ to be reflected in SAP? will it be a LUMF bundle or a variant configuration?
