Sales Order price is updated from sales contract after approval instead of custom logic in pricing

Hello Experts, 

We are using SAP S/4HANA public cloud version and we have enabled custom business object to enable customized sales pricing in sales order. 

Following are the steps we have done and it is surprising to note that Sales Order price is updated from sales contract after approval instead of custom logic in pricing.

Step 1 : custom business logic for sales pricing for materials 

Step 2: Sales Contract creation 

Step 3: Sales Order with reference to sales contract 

Step 3 : Sales Order approval

Observation : Sales pricing  for material in Sales Order is getting updated from sales contract instead of customized logic for pricing.

After sales Order approval 

sales order approval action is impacting our custom logic for sales price and the sales price for material in sales order is picking up from sales contract. 

Could you please advise on how to avoid the sales price copying from sales contract. 

Our requirement is to pull the sales price only from customized business object. 

Please advise.

Could you please provide some more information about your custom logic? How did you implemented what and which apps have you used? I do not know the screenshot you provided.
I have tried to reproduce your scenario with a standard condition DRV1 in the contract and the discount is still there in the sales order even after approval.
