Sales Order not flowing in Profit Center/Group Valuation

Hello All,

Client has a requirement where they want to see profit center valuation/group valuation data flow from Sales Order to COPA. I am aware that Standard SAP neither provides for Group valuation data flow to COPA nor does values from Sales Order flow to COPA. I would like to know if there is any possibility to achieve this by any workarounds or enhancements.

Appreciate your views on this subject.

Hi

In your Op Concern attributes, you need to allow the PC Valuation..

To activate sales order transfer to COPA, assign SD qty field (KWMENG) to COPA Qty in KE4M, assign SD Cond types to COPA VF in KE4I and activate the transfer of sales order to COPA in KEKF

Also do the settings in the IMG node mentioned in above reply

While I am exploring the suggested configurations, I had a query. From a link of SAP HELP I understand that Sales Order values do flow in Legal valuation but not for profit centre valuations. If the case is that it does flow for profit centre valuations as well, why does the link mention otherwise? Following is the link for your reference -

Further, I was reading SAP Help documentation on Multiple Valuation Approaches/Transfer Prices in CO-PA and per my understanding it works for actual values posted to profit centres. In this case, only sales order is created which does not execute any FI and subsequently profit centre postings.

Hi,

Your understanding is correct as far as Sales order value transfers for profit center valuation. COPA will not be getting SO values based on profit centers.

COPA can have Sales order settlements and internal goods movements based on profit centers but not exactly Sales order values.

Hi,

Please check "Multiple Valuation Approaches/Transfer Prices" in "Flow of actual values" in configuration where you can activate profit center valuation in COPA..
