we have intercompany process in which distribution company code A is creating sales order for end customer in production company B plant and production company B is delivering goods directly to customer, production company code B is issuing intercompany invoice and distribution company A is receiving intercompany incoming invoice, distribution company A is issuing invoice to end customer. I need to enable cost component split on profit centers and in account based COPA using standard cost estimate for COGM at time of delivery and material ledger/actual costing for month end closing, for both MTO and MTS scenario, cost component split for COGM i can do during posting of goods issue from production company B plant, but what options i have to apply sales and admin overheads from both company codes A and B to report total COGS on Group level on profit center and profitability segment in COPA? Requirement is to use overhead calculation for sales and admin overheads, assessment to COPA from cost centers is not an option. I will use trading partner and profit centers to consolidate intercompany revenue and COGS in transit. We are implementing S4HANA ON PREMISE 2020 02 (05/2021).
