Sale and leaseback process

Hello,

Does anyone have experience how to implement sale and leaseback process in SAP AA and RE-FX?
Due to nature of this transaction RoU need to be calculated outside the SAP and: 

• RoU is not equal to the lease liability but is measured as a proportion of the previous carrying amount of the property.
• RoU asset is depreciated independently from the lease liability.

Any recommendations?

Hi,

OSS Note 2662137 point “2. What kind of support is available for mapping the sale and lease back?” describe what is supported in SAP and what not related to this process. 

To set the RoU value you should create a condition having condition purpose = “one time statistical posting”. Assign to it “Condition Valuation Property” = F-Net worth value specified”.
