Hello all,
I need to find the best way to map safety equipments (equipments that are critical for safe functioning of the sistem , and who's failure could result in accident) .
What specific features would those have to have to ensure they are properly maintained ?
Do I use specific charachteristic and clasification?
Do I have to use EHS?
Thanks

Hi Dejan,
To me, the query seems outside the SAP-PM. The situation explained by you totally hardware related.i.e., the failure of one equipment should be able to prevent the failure of another system. I'm doubtful any software (even EHS) addresses such requirements.
If SAP-PM needs to be involved in this then the equipment readings (Measuring Documents) should be interfaced through connectors to hardware and transmit signals further to other protections of the systems.
Curious too to learn from other responses.

HI Jogeswara
Maybe my formulation was wrong, the thing is that there are some equipments that are defined as safety equipment and their failure would result in a possible accident..
The question was what would be the best way to represent this in a system (naturally trough FL and EQ's but what addtional features or integration points to other modules (possibly EHS) woul it require?
