SAC Story Drill-Through Not Working Across Different Models

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing an issue with drill-through functionality in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). When I use a hyperlink in an SAC story to drill through to another story with the same model, everything works as expected, and I am directed to the specific ID I selected.

However, when I try to drill through to a story that uses a different model (even though I copied the model and the data is identical), I am not taken to the specific ID. Instead, the entire story is displayed without filtering down to the ID.

I have verified that the data and setup are the same, but the only difference is the model. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions for making the drill-through work when using different models?

The issue was resolved by linking a common dimension between both models in target model. Once I established the link, the drill-through functionality started working as expected, and it correctly filtered to the specific ID in the target story.
