Dear Experts,
The business receives a single product in 3 different carton boxes due to its size Ex: Dressing Table where the doors / glass / frame will be placed separately. The expectation is to see the inventory in the warehouse as the stock is available in 3 carton boxes (HU's) though it is one single material. Do we have a standard solution available in SAP S4HANA Cloud?

Hello @ksnv
You can't pack a single piece of a product into three different handling units nor can you place it into different bins. That is possible neither physically nor in the system.
In fact, you don't have a single product but a set composed of three components i.e. doors, glass and frame. They should be managed with individual material numbers as you want to place them separately. From the stock management, warehouse operations and logistics perspective, these are three individual materials - they are packed separately, placed into different bins etc.
Having the components managed under separate material numbers would still allow them to be sold as a complete set with Bills of Materials in Sales Documents functionality.

Dear @Dominik_Tylczynski
Thank you for your valuable inputs. I will explore those options but however just giving the below points for you information
Since for the business it's a single product, they are placing an order in PO with one material code and while doing GRN they receive it in 2 or 3 HU's based on how the vendor packs it in their premises.
It will be stored as it is in the warehouse, the stocks will be seen as single item and when there's a request from customer for the same item, it will be delivered as one single item but 3 HU's will be shipped

Hello @ksnv
I do understand your challenge. I've seen a similar requirement in the automotive industry. They buy air conditioning sets as a single purchase item. Then they use the set components at different workstation during assembly. The solution is to use one material number for the entire set and buy that material. Once it is received, it is split or decomposed into individual components modeled as separate material numbers. The split can be automated by production orders with co-products. I think your requirement is quite similar.
You can't say that for the business you have a single product. You do have a single product from purchasing and sales perspective. However you have individual components from logistics and warehousing stand point as you want to pack and place them individually. Again, you can't pack a single piece into multiple handling units and place them into separate storage bins.
I would suggest to follow my case from the automotive industry, i.e. purchase a single product, then split it up into components, pack them into individual handling units and place them into separate storage bins.
