S4HANA procurement :how to set contract status as terminated

Hi Expert:

Looking for how to set purchase contract is terminated.

When changed contract validity period to the past. 

The contract status is not reflected as closed or terminated.

Any field or other workaround?

Hi, 

the status you are highlighting is not the validity status.

Please see the validity status in the screenshot below from the Purchase Contract overview:

In the contract details, this field is not populated by default, but it can be added with 'Adapt UI'.
