S4HANA MDG 1909 - Cross Entity Derivation using BRF+

Hi All,

I have been working on MDG from 7.0 till 9.2 and now we are doing a green field implementation for S4HANA 1909 MDG. i have read in some presentations and documents that the BRF+ derivations are way better now in S4HANA for MDG.

i wanted to know about BRF+ derviations for cross entity for Material Master. i know it is easily achievable using Cross Entity BADI, but it creates a dependency to move it through code everytime we make a change. So i wanted to explore about Cross entity derivations using BRF+. Can someone please share their experience and if it is working as expected? are there any issues faced? would you recommend BADI over BRF+ or vice versa?

Appreciate if you can please share the mentioned "i have read in some presentations and documents that the BRF+ derivations are way better now in S4HANA for MDG." which states that BRF+ now supports cross entity for Material. In the latest publication (https://help.sap.com/viewer/6d52de87aa0d4fb6a90924720a5b0549/2020.000/en-US/5b362c74ba324597ace35c6422370afe.html) i really haven't come across anything like this.
