S4H_GLOBALCATALOG - is this the only catalog available by default?

Hi experts,

1. i am executing 18J GSI requisitioning and trying to create PR using catalogs. i created a catalog item using "manage catalog items" app. the catalog name is S4H_GLOBALCATALOG by default? can't i create new catalogs and group the items within the newly created catalog. looks like i can only add the items to this specific catalog S4H_GLOBALCATALOG. may i know what is the use of this catalog and what purpose does this solve. thanks.

Alos ensure the Catalog has not been assigned to the PR creator user - Catalog has to be assigned to the users in Default Settings for Users Fiori app:https://me.sap.com/notes/3350531/E
