S4 system asking for Login and Password after Kernel upgrade

Dears,

We upgraded the S4hana Kernel from 773 to 777, and after the upgrade we launched the SGEN

The SGEN fails and it showed us as error that the login or password is incorrect

and we test to access to the transactions, for example "RZ12 or ST06" it asking us to put the credentials "login and password", we don't know the cause of the problem

we rolled back the kernel version to 773 and it's working fine

my answer is it's likely you didn't meet the kernel minimum requirements or you found a new bug 🙂

Did you try with a different kernel PL?

Whats your s/4hana rel.? and what's PL of 777 that you were going to?

Lastly what dump were you getting?
