S_ALR_87013558(Budget/Actual) - Header total and Line item total is not matching

Hi All,

We are using only internal project ( no customer project ) . For some projects , we find that total actual values at t-code S_ALR_87013558 is greater ( almost 1 million ) than total values of line item ( navigated from this same t-code ) .We have eliminated all settlement document at line item level . Could not find any satisfactory reply in any forum . Can anyone please suggest what may be cause for this discrepancy .

There are some red traffic light showing up for some cases but as such no error message window .

Hi Ken & Paulo ,

I have already run CJEN & CJBN to rebuild PS Info database . Also checked layout & limit on the line item . All these looked fine . Is there any other point I need to check ?

What do you mean by internal project (CAPEX/OPEX)? How many line items do you have? Can you illustrate with screen shots hiding confidential data elements if applicable?

Hi Mohammed,

Apart from CJEN mentioned by Ken above, I can think of two more reasons:

1. Some default user layout with filtering in the line item report

2. The limit on the line item selection resulting in not giving a full output

Have you run CJEN? This rebuilds the PS Info Database. Then recheck the reports.
