S/4HANA Public Cloud: Read and access restrictions to specific G/L accounts

Hello!

We are wondering how we could give access and read restrictions to heterogeneous set of G/L accounts and hide rest of the COA like Authorization group function in ECC. Though the similar field seems to be available in S4HC, we cannot find possibility to restrict the role regarding it.

We have tried to make these restrictions by Functional area restriction, but it has zero effect to account visibility. Also we tried G/L account hierarchy restriction (HRYTYPE_HRYID_GL), which also did not help.

Is there any other possibilities how we could proceed with this issue?

It is currently not possible to hide or suppress individual G/L accounts from the COA in SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
