S/4HANA Cloud - Manage Business Role Changes After Upgrade - Differences in P- and Q-System

Dear all,

during the release change to 2208 i figured out there is a remaining difference in the state of upgraded roles with business catalogs between my Q- and P-system after all upgrade activities, although there is no change required in software collections.

Please find attached a screenshot comparing the two systems.

The upper part is P-system in light mode, the lower part is Q-system in dark mode.

How can I synchronize both systems without a software collection? Will it be ok to download the roles from Q and upload again in P? Does this violate the history of software collections?

Is it possible to manually add the changed roles to the software collection (Authentication, YY1_15 in my case) now without running into history conflicts?

Hi dschuler_2020,

We recommend downloading a list of all the changes using the Manage Business Roles After an Upgrade app, and then adjust the roles. Once you have finished, the respective changed objects disappear from the list in the app. Please check the following documentation:
