[ S/4HANA Cloud ] I_SalesOrder CDS - Adding Custom Fields to Header CDS

Hi All,

I would like to know how to add custom fields to the standard Sales Order header CDS.
I have already tried the usual way of adding custom fields through the Custom Field and Logic Application in S/4 HANA Cloud and almost enabled everything in the Reports and UI's tab but when checking the I_SalesOrder CDS, it is still not added.

I would like to use I_SalesOrder for Custom CDS and Custom Analytical Queries.

Hi Marvin,

Were you able to resolve this issue? We are also facing the same problem with Customer Return Delivery where we cant see Custom fields even after enabling in the UI.

Hi Marvin,

In general that should work! Ensure that FDP_V1_ORDER_CONFIRM_SRV under tab "Form Templates" is enabled:

Please also note that in app "Custom CDS Views" extension fields are not shown in step "General" but only in step "Field selection". Could you check if it is showing up there?

Btw, with release 1905 (May 2019) also further data sources are planned to be added, like 'C_SALESORDERQUERY'.
