S/4HANA Cloud edition Infotypes - do they exit?

Hi all I am reading the "Setting Up Core HR with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (JB1)" from rapid.sap.com to replicate Employee Master Data and Org Data from SuccessFactors EC to S/4HANA Cloud. The pdf refers to the BIB too if it is active or not. I dont understand how can replication work without the BIB.

However I have been told by multiple sources that Employee replication doesnt populate Infotypes. Please can someone confirm this - does S/4HANA Cloud have any Infotypes or not? And if it doesnt have any Infotypes then how does the BIB map SuccessFactors portlets and fields to S/4HANA Cloud?

Dear Arijit,

yes I can confirm that since the 2202 release SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud doesn't contain any infotypes anymore. Instead we built a new workforce persistency that is:

1. reduced to the required scope of an non-HRIS system
2. aligned with the SAP One Domain Model for workforce
3. Independent of any special AddOns like PA_SE_IN and the included BIB

As we just did this change recently there might be some artifacts referencing to the old behaviour still. We are trying to remove these occurrences and avoid such confusions in the future; if you come across such instances please let me know, such that I can address these as well.
