S/4HANA 2022 upgrade concerns

Hi guys,

I would like to get your thoughts. My client would like to upgrade their SAP systems (S/4HANA 1610, Fiori, CRM, MDG, BW, BODS, BOBJ, etc) but due to budget constraints, they cannot upgrade all their SAP systems. So their plan is to only upgrade the S/4HANA and Fiori. Now, my issue is they are asking if there are compatibility issues between S/4HANA to other systems and Fiori to other systems.

Because of so many systems, I cannot find all the resources like SNotes and release notes I needed. What do you think I should do?

Hi Philip,

You can use the Upgrade Dependency Analyzer tool to check potential dependencies between your S/4Hana target version and older releases of SAP products as mentionned in sap note 2251604.

There is also the SAP Fiori Upgrade Impact Analysis tool to help you identify obsolete, deprecated, and superseded FIORI apps during an S/4hana upgrades.
