S/4HANA 1709 FINANCE - Extension Ledger (Type: Simulation Ledger)

Hello Experts,

Currently working on an in-house project and notice in 1709 for "Ledger Type : Extension Ledger" there are two new "Extension Ledger Types" like "Simulation" and " Prediction and Commitments " are available.

I managed to get some insight from a blog about "Simulation Ledger" but could not get to find all the features. Is there a document available with the functionality.

I was able to configure a new Ledger (Simulation) and also able to generate posting values through transaction "FAGL_FCV". However the document, although generated with a "document reference" was not posted.

Would appreciate if any member could provide complete documentation on this new functionality.

I found out that the document has indeed been posted and visible only in the report "FAGLL03" but not in "FAGLL03H".

Earlier I was only trying through report "FAGLL03H" and hence thought the document is not posted. However not am not sure why it only shows up in "FAGLL03".

So finally it works. 🙂

I shall shortly come up with a blog on this functionality (FAGL_FCV) where in the we can carry out Foreign Currency Valuation to be posted in the "Simulation Ledger".
