Dear experts,
My customer has the following requirement : we are implementing S/4HANA Public cloud Service module. My customer maintains customer's equipments but for some equipments, the business process steps are :
1. A technician goes to customer's site in order to dismantle the equipment on customer production line and the technician bring the equipment in-house in our repair center or the customer send it via a transport company to our repair center.
2. The dismantle equipment will be repaired in house and checked. And the equipment will be sent to the customer.
3. The dismantle equipment is installed on the customer production line by a technician and checked.
From a customer point of view, it's a global repair with only one invoice, I need to manage 2 service order (for step 1 and step 3) and 1 repair. I need to manage the planning and the execution of each steps, following the cost...
I though I was able to manage it with a solution order in order to manage the 3 steps. I didn't find any document regarding solution order and repair in-house. How can I generate an in-house repair process from a solution order ?
For a workaround, I wanted to link repairs and service order in the transaction history tab of the service order. But it's not possible.
How do you manage this process in S/4HANA public cloud ? or what is the workaround in order to answer the customer's requirement.
Thanks a lot

Hello,
The in-house repair does not directly fit into the solution order, if you want to track all the 3 steps in one.
You may still create 3 service orders in one solution order. You then need to link the service order for step 2 to an in-house repair. You use the step 2 service order to track the costs and time and use the in-house repair to execute the repair process.
Or you integrate the in-house repair directly to the solution order, linking the cost and equipment. But this is not supported by standard.
