S/4 Public cloud - Service - print attachment for service/repair quotation & service/repair order

Dear Experts,

We are implementing S/4 Public cloud Service module, my customer need to send with the service/repair quotation an attachment : technical information relative to the quotation - more detailed than just a text : word or pdf. And also the capability to send attachment for service order (/repair order also)

I have seen this in the help portal : https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/a630d57fc5004c6383e7a81efee7a8bb/c7d221460f4a43d7af31a1af...

So I checked in the Manage Service quotations app : I created a quotation, I added 2 attachments :

I can see the output control only in display mode, I can see a column with a number for the attachments :

A pop up invite me to drag and drop the document to merge with the form template or to add additionnal attachement for output, and I can see my 2 files availables :

When I try the drag and drop for the 2 possibilities (merge or additionnal attachment) I have the following error message :

But in edit mode of the service quotation, in public cloud the output control tab is not displayed and I'm not able to add it via personalization.

Can you explain how can I do to add the attachment ? Is there any other possibility in an automatic way : by default all attachment of the business object is added to the output ?

I checked in service order but I even don't have the button in the output item tab

Can you help me ?

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

Hello,

As of March 2025, you cannot move the attachments to the Additional Attachments for Output.

You can raise an incident.

As a workaround, you can add attachments to the Service Quotation when you create it. In this way, the attachments will appear automatically in the output. You select the output item which has the attachments can send to customer.

Best regards,

I wanted to do the workaround, but the screen for the quotation's creation doesn't show neither the attachment tab nor the output item tab. So ithe workaround is not working. I am not able to add a screenshot in the comment. Thank you !
