We are migrating from SAP ECC into S/4 HANA. One of the simplification item in S/4 HANA 2020 is change in production version screen (C223) where it has single field to maintain Scheduling type either Routing, Rate Routing or Master Recipe, etc. Wherein ECC, we have three fields to maintain Routing & Rate Routing separately. It's an REM scenario, so in ECC, all the rate routing mapping in Production version screen is maintained in second field.
Now, the problem is, while doing migration, the PV which is assigned with normal routing (Discrete), its copied into PV in S/4H but, the PV which are assigned with rate routing in second field in ECC is not copied into PV in S/4H. This missing rate routing assignment in PV cause issue in planning.
We have used report "CS_BOM_PRODVER_MIGRATION02" with "Adapt also existing PVs" to check this missing entry and try to fill. Again, this program do wrong Group counter assignment. For Example, in ECC, a material has 2 routings with group counters (1 & 2), and in PV its assigned with counter '2'. But when we use this program, for the missing entry, By default, its assigned with group counter "1" wrongly and propose new PV with group counter "2"
We have raised OSS to SAP, they suggested note "2270240 - S4TWL - Rate and Rough-Cut Planning". But, its describing about the change in screen fields, but don't have any information or procedure how to migrate PV data from ECC into S/4H and also if something is missing, how to update these value.
If any one of facing this issue while migration from ECC into S/4H as its one of core PP master data. Checking, validating and correction on this are need too much effort and time consuming one. Could you please suggest what we need to do proper migration of PV from ECC into S/4H?
