Hi Experts
SAP S/4 HANA provides for a basic framework to check for legal control and license checks. A functionality is provided to indicate if the license type is checked based on Products or is based on a control class.
We have a requirement where only specific products are subject to a license check. All other products do not require a license check should not be subject to a license check in the sales order.
If we define a license type which is based on products / control class, the items that are relevant for a license check would be managed via the license type relevant for these parameters.
However, since all other products are not subject to a license requirement, there is a need that such materials are not subject to a license requirement for the legal control activated for the country.
How do we achieve this exclusion so that products that are not required for a license check are not expected to be maintained in a different license type ? Maintaining a wider list of products that are not subject to a license check would be a huge maintenance issue.
Would appreciate inputs from experts in the forum.
Regards
Rohit Zalani
