S/4 1809 Retail with Fashion Functionality License Coverage

Hi All,

In Context of SAP S/4 Hana 1809 using features of Fashion Vertical in Retail , it is a known fact that many Fashion functionalities have been merged with Retail , to provide a end to end capability Make to Sell.

However I am unclear if there are certain fashion functions are not allowed with Retail activation in S/4 Hana 1809 and are exclusively for S/4 Hana Fashion 1809.

Therefore my question is whether the S/4 Hana 1809 Retail software License also covers using all Fashion Vertical Functionalities (i.e. one common product license) or a separate license is required for S/4 Hana Fashion Vertical. ?

Alternatively , whether if S/4 Hana Fashion covers also all functionality of Retail also ?

I am referring to fashion functionalities like , if Business functions are activated

Segmentation , Season (I think it is shared with Retail)

Manufacturing (e.g. Production Order) processes for purpose of Make to Sell to B2C

Supply Assignment (ARun)

Advanced ATP/BOP

You should check with your SAP account team and not rely on my statements 🙂

There are two separate products and two separate license requirements:

• SAP S/4HANA Retail for merchandise management
• SAP S/4HANA for fashion and vertical business

I am not aware of any intention to merge the products into one license.
