RSH unable to assign people on board app- resolved!

fixed! some system catalogs were missing; the issue was resolved after adding them and linking the system alias.

Hey guys, I’m able to assign people using the Assign Maintenance Order Operations app(responsible ones i guess). However, when I try to assign people who gonna do real work in the Maintenance Scheduling Board, no names appear. I’ve tried many possible solutions but couldn’t fix it.

Hi,

Your Assign Maintenance Order Operations app is just looking up any available Business Partner to add as a Person Responsible onto the Maintenance Order.

To assign people, you need to create a 'Team' and link your work center TESTT to it.

For full setup instructions, refer to the Help Portal 

Here it is at a high level..

Manage Teams and Responsibilities App:

Create a team, link it to your work center, assign people

Maintenance Scheduling Board App:

To check the linkage is setup correctly, in the Maintenance Scheduling Board app, click "My Work Centers" and you should see the linkage

When you assign people, it will fetch the people that you have defined in the team

Thanks for your question.
As already mentioned by Tim, the feature of assigning people to operations (so in theory the workers performing the task) works a little differently and is based on other data that needs to be in place. Due to the fact of RSH being developed cloud first, without any HR/HCM component present in the S/4HANA, we had to find a different way to connect a work center to the people and could not use the known HRMS link through CR02, which is also shown in one of your screenshots. Instead, we are using the so-called work center team, managed through the "Teams and Responsibility" app of S/4HANA.
So, for people to come up in the people Gantt of the Maintenance Scheduling board, a work center team for the work center the operation is assigned to needs to be set up.
Please be so kind and check the resources provided, as well as this SAP Help documentation. If all fails, please issue a support ticket to component CA-RSH-EAM.

You have not linked any person to your Work center “TESTT”. Therefore, the system’s behaviour is expected.

In summary, you can make the employees appear in the scheduling board. To achieve that,:

• Go to the Manage Work Center app, Open the relevant work center used in your maintenance order.
• Under capabilities, ensure you create or assign individual capabilities for each employee.
• Ensure each of the employee is a Business Partner and link them through Manage Workforce.

Thanks for your reply. I created individual capacities for the employees. Since there is no data in the system, I created dummy records. However, I don’t know how to assign them as Business Partners. Also, I don’t have access to the Manage Workforce app., only for Public Cloud.

Consider requesting for the access to the app to enable you carry out the user assignment.

Hi @Chris1973 , I checked his message. He was right about, 'Your Assign Maintenance Order Operations app is just looking up any available Business Partner to add as a Person Responsible onto the Maintenance Order' But i created team, linked to same work center. Checked adding members and 3 of available Business Partner showed up. So i added them. But they are still not show up in board app. I will share also TESTT work center details in question. In case i miss something
