Rollback scoping for Development Customizing Tenant

Hello All,

We have accidentally scoped incorrect scope items in CBC.

Could we understand if there is any rollback action?

We understand that once scope item is activated, it cannot be deactivate.

If reprovision system is the only way, could anyone share the process of reprovisioning the development customizing tenant and if possible to remain the same tenant URL?

Appreciate for your help.

Thank You.

Regards,

Chin Yee

Hi Chin Yee,

Unfortunately, as I understand, it is not possible to remove an activated scope item.

Please see the support portal about SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition reprovisioning (link)

"Re-provisioning in the context of S/4HANA Public Cloud involves terminating the current system and delivering a new empty system for the customer to configure from scratch. It is used in special cases where there are no other options to undo unwanted changes, typically during the early stages of an implementation project. Re-provisioning is recommended when configurations in the Preset phase cannot be rolled back after activation or when a customer realizes incorrect configurations too late to make changes. To request re-provisioning, a support ticket should be created to component XX-S4C-OPR-SRV, stating the reasons for the request, which will then undergo internal approvals. Once approved, the existing system is terminated, and the customer is instructed to request a new system from SAP4Me."

Please reference the note: 3401017 - FAQs about S/4HANA Public Cloud System Reprovisioning

As I understand you will not receive the same URL.

If you are working with a CSM or assigned Solution Architect, please engage them as well. Otherwise, please engage your account team or implementation partner for guidance.

I hope this helps,

Thank you

Jerry
