RG23D for intial trading inventory upload

Dear gurus

We are uploading inventory by movement type 561 by MB1C,The Material to be uploaded in Depot is Exciseable.

Now I want to Update RG23D by Quantity and Amount/Value also.How to update RG23D for movement type 561 both Value & Quantity?

Dear Tej,

Follow following steps

Upload initital inventory by MB1C (561). With proper value in amount in local currency field in MB1C.

Note the document number for MB1C.

For updating RG23D register , use J1IG t code and with reference to this material document number post the entries in register.

Use transaction MB1C. Movement type 561.

Enter material code, quantity. Then double click on line item.

Enter the value in field "Amount in LC".

With this you quantity and value are loaded in SAP for initial data.

Now regarding excise, this can be done by using transaction J1ID separately. Register should be RG23D.
