Message L3007: “Data for storage type search is not defined (A FLR Q)” is triggered when SAP cannot determine the correct storage type during transfer order creation. A FLR Q refers to:
- A: Movement type indicator (e.g., putaway)
- FLR: Storage location
- Q: Stock category (e.g., Quality Inspection)
This error typically occurs when storage type search configuration is missing for the combination of movement type, storage location, and stock category.
Go to SPRO → Logistics Execution → Warehouse Management → Activities → Transfers → Define Storage Type Search. Ensure that storage type search entries exist for Movement type (e.g., 321 or 343 for inspection lot rejection), Storage location (e.g., FLR) & Stock category (e.g., Q).
Go to OMLY or SPRO → Enterprise Structure → Assignment → Logistics Execution → Assign Warehouse Number to Plant/Storage Location. Make sure the plant and storage location are correctly assigned to a warehouse number.
Use transaction LT06 to manually simulate the transfer order creation. If it fails, check the storage type search sequence and control indicators.
Since the issue is plant-specific, compare the WM configuration of the working plant with the problematic plant. Look for missing entries in Storage type search, Movement type configuration and Storage location setup
