Revenue Recognition Keys

Hi,

I would like to find about more about the revenue recognitions keys for the contract types in S/4 and the related postings to each key ( la scenario of each key would help to view the generating of each posting).

I viewed the posting schema for event based revenue recognition and these are not very detailed and the amounts do not seem to be consistent.. 

Is there a detailed document available or some where I can view this?

nadja.medeiros - that's a really useful guide. Is there an equivalent available for Rev Rec based on service contracts / orders? If so, can you please share a link?

Hi ccsmith the equivalent for Services Contracts is not yet available , but the information that i got from Product Management is that they want to release one (no date yet). I am aware that the cookbook for Service was to be published now during this release, I've dropped an email to PM asking if they finalized the reviews and when we will have the final version. Today is public holidays in Germany so bare with me on the answer.

nadja.medeiros Hi - just following up on this point. Is there yet a Rev Rec cookbook for Service contracts (and indeed for Enterprise Projects, given the new functionality linking sales orders with Enterprise Projects just released with 2005). Be grateful if you can share these updates?

Hi ccsmith the last version of the document was approved last week, and it is already with colleagues responsible for publishing in our official channels, but they didn't give me a date yet, but I believe to be soon.

I will be notified when the document is published and I will let you know.
