Return damage during intransit -

Hello Team,

we have a situation where we had picked up material from our regular supplier, wherein the transport is arranged by our company (Exworks into term), the truck met with an accident and the goods have damaged and reported at our gate -

Now transport is liable for this damage and they are ready to pay for the repair, now to send these parts back to the supplier and get it repaired and returned to the supplier.(repair charges should be paid by the transporter or can be covered thru insurance)

one option that we found is we will inward the part (101) movement (*we don't have return to vendor enabled in our SAP) and we will send them out by generating a Returnable DC (601) movement.and once it came back we will knock off thru 602 movement.

which is the right process kindly suggest
