Result Recording in inspection lot for individual handling units with embedded EWM in S4

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to have individual results recording in QM for single handling units? Process Flow is as follows:

Purchase Order -> Inbound Delivery -> Packing and HU creation in eEWM -> Posting of Goods Receipt in eEWM -> Inspection Lot (inspection type 01 from material master, inspection origin 17) is created properly

BUT there is no way to enter any results for the single HUs coming from the inbound delivery. It is possible in the next step of UD, to have partial UD on HU level (I can see the single HUs in the inspection lot via the EWM button in the UD), but what sense does it make if I do not have the results on HU level. How should I even know, which of the HUs are ok, ad which of them are not ok?

Maybe somebody had already a similar requirement or knows at least a workaround. The setting "HU inspection" in inspection type 01 seems not to be valid in this scenario and there is no similar setting in inspection type 1701...

Dear Christian,

The "lot origin 17" works differently than the others, so the result recording cannot be work.

You can post result recording as additional information, but this process will not take into account these posting.

So, if you would like different follow-up actions (based on your customization) with every HU, then you have to made EWM inspection (partial decision.) for the HUs.
