Hi Friends
We are currently in ECC and have lot of times when logistics document create more than 999 line items which fail due to restrictions in FI
We have heard that this restriction has been removed in S/4HANA. We intend to convert our systems to S/4HANA next year and wondering if we would need to remove the document split that we have in place for SD and MM transactions
Please advise

Hello chengappa2020
This requirement has been discussed multiple times. Please refer the wiki link as below:
https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPFI/System+limitation+of+999+line+items+per+FI+document
It has links to all the relevant notes as well. The split functionality you might have implemented where the logistics document generates more than one accounting document is still valid as well in S/4HANA. The restriction for 999 still remains since the line item data is still updated in BSEG.
Hope this clarifies
Thanks & Regards
