Hi all.
I was looking for a solution to a client concern where they want to restrict different sales groups from viewing other groups details on Sales Orders. I understand and agree with the numbering series creation an dauthorisation as in this thread:
https://archive.sap.com/discussions/thread/3396762
But the client had already started using the single numbering sequence initially before asking about seperating the orders. How would we retrospectively block viewing of certain orders to certain people/groups to a single numbering sequence? Can it be done?
Alan.

Hi,
If the documents aren`t with an owner assigned, it won`t be possible, otherwise you could enable the Data Ownership Authorizations.
If they still need to have different number series for the next orders, lock the old number series, give read only authorization for "Lock", create different number series and give them the proper authorization for the new ones.
