Resource Network cannot be assigned in Advanced Planning Tab in Material Master

Hi, SAP Gurus.

Good day!

I have already created a Resource Network in /SAPAPO/RESNET but I could assign them in the Advanced Planning Tab in Material Master (MM02). In SCM version of PP-DS, we can assign them through /SAPAPO/MAT1, but due to the simplification of S/4HANA, product-location maintenance should be done in MM02, thus, most of the fields (including resource network) are grayed out in MAT1.

Hoping you could help me with this issue I am encountering.

I have resolved the issue myself. We have to assign the Resource Network first to the Planning Version before we can assign it to the Material Master. In my case, it took a few minutes of waiting time for it to take effect.
