Hello Everyone,

Need a quick help from you all. When i create production order the reservations for movement type 261 are created.

Now my client requirement is that, these reservations are created at RM01 sloc and they want these reservations to get transferred to Production sloc.

I have tried BAPI for goods movement create to transfer these reservations to production SLOC via 311 movement type, but it is throwing an error "Goods movement with movement type 261 not possible'

How do we transfer these reservations from one location to another. This is discrete industry.

Please suggest.

Hello

You can explore transaction MF60 to post the transference of those materials to the production storage location.

Dear Sir,

I have done MF60 and it’s staging material from one location to another. And I tried in BAPI goods_movement_create but it’s not allowing me to transfer the reservation from one location to another.

Yes as per that SAP note, it is not possible with 311 but only possible with 301

Yes but 301 is a movement type for transfer posting from plant to plant. And I need to do 311. So it’s not possible?

Standard movement type to transfer stock from one storage location to another storage location is 311. Did you try manually mb1b or MIGO with movement type 311? Did you face the same issue ? If so, what is the error message number ?

Yes sir, I have tried and it shows an error message "Reservations could not be copied over". MIGO059

MB1B 311: "Goods movement not possible with movement type 261

MIGO: We have checked with movement types 311, 313 it shows "Reservations could not be copied over", checked with SAP notes and found note no- 2736226

You can use SAP standard material staging option for this requirement.

I have tried MF60 pull list functionality, but client requires Z tcode to do this.
Other than pull list, Is there any other option?

Sorry Sir, but this is not the solution.

I don’t want to create 311 reservations, instead I want to transfer the 261 reservations from sloc RM01 to PD01 location which are created automatically after production order creation. So I want to do transfer posting of these 261 reservations against production order to another Sloc location which will create a movement type 311.
