How to delete bank master data in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

1. Use archiving object FI_BANKS to archive the marked for deletion banks. Refer to: Archiving Banks Using FI_BANKS
2. Ensure the bank is marked for deletion from the App Manage Bank - Master Data.
3. Confirm the bank is not used anymore.
4. Follow the ILM-Related Information for the Archiving Object. Refer to: ILM-Related Information for the Archiving Object
5. Define the archiving variant containing the parameters for the banks to be archived in the App Manage Archiving Variants.
6. The Marked for Deletion indicator can also updated API Bank. Refer to: Bank and Entity
7. Delete bank master data records from BNKA table by updating the relevant entity with the IsMarkedForDeletion indicator. After updating the entity, delete it with an archiving job if the record is not used anywhere.
