Request for Custom Field Editing in 'Create Billing Documents - F0798' Application in Public Cloud

Hello SAP Community,

We have encountered a recurring demand from our customers in Portugal for the ability to utilize multiple sales billing series (interval ranges) to accommodate invoicing customers for dates in the past. While this is relatively straightforward to implement in 'On-Premise' or 'Private Cloud' environments through the creation of custom billing document types, we have found it challenging in the 'Public Cloud.'

To work around this limitation, we created a custom field and custom logic using the Custom Field and Logic application, making it editable in the VF01 header data. We also implemented flexible numbering for billing documents. However, we still face challenges when attempting to achieve similar functionality through the 'Create Billing Documents - F0798' app, as it does not allow any data entry in the fields.

Is there any possibility of enabling custom fields to be editable/input in the F0798 application? This would greatly enhance our ability to meet customer needs.

Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!

According to the Fiori App library, extensibility options using SAPUI5 Adaptation projects are not possible using this app, please see the Implementation Information Tab at this link.
