Reporting on sales kit items

How to report on items sold as part of a sales kit?

We are selling sales kits, not sure if we need to use item cat ERLA or something else on header level. Now we want to report on the sales kit items sold and its total value. Standard available queries only show header materials sold, not the components that are part of the sales bom.

Any idea if there is a way to do that?

I assume that this is the case for sales kit variant ERLA.

For sales kit LUMF it should be vice versa, meaning that only the subitems are reflected in reporting.

Thank you very much for your answer! We are aware of what you have written. Was hoping perhaps there is another way of reporting on the sales bom components. A custom query perhaps?

I'm struggling since I can't even report on the item category TAE. Was hoping for some insights!
