Replacement of GJ90 and GJ91 transactions in S4 HANA cloud

Hi Experts,

We used to have GJ90 JVA realized exchange rate differences and GJ91 - JVA unrealized exchange rate differences transactions for JV foreign currency valuations.

Could you please let me know, what are the alternative applications available for the above in S4 HANA cloud ?

Thanks

Dear Varun,

Please note that in case you have activated JVA on ACDOCA (ACDOCA data model) with activated finance document split and configured split characteristic VENTURE in S/4HANA Finance

  • the RXD JVA transaction GJ90 has been made redundant due to the CO-FI Integration which supports the automatic postings. This way, the correct JVA information is made available in S/4HANA Finance (including CO) by automatic.
  • the UXD JVA transaction GJ91 and GJNO based on the known SAPF100 are replaced by the finance transaction FAGL_FCV. This way the correct JVA information (unique combination of document date, currency, account number, recovery indicator, and cost object) is available in S/4HANA Finance which is reversed in the next month.

Please consider the note 966000 for further guidance in case you have implemented JVA based on the old SL data model without finance document split and characteristic VENTURE.

Hi. About recovery indicator. Where is it configured? For example in ECC we have GJ49 in function UXD. It doesn't work with the new transaction FAGL_FCV. Thanks

Hi Varun,

GJ90 reconciliation transaction is not required anymore and also GJ91 for balance sheet valuation are replaced by corresponding FI tcode FAGL_FCV. These were enhanced to cover JVA requirements.
