Replacement for CO06 in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud?

In SAP R/3, we use the transaction CO06 (Manual Availability Assignment). Is there currently an equivalent or replacement for this functionality in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud?

The app "Pick Components by Production Order" does not meet our needs, as we are not using production orders in our process.

Thank you in advance for your insights!

Hello @t_jungesblut

In the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, backorder processing follows a different approach compared to the On-Premise system, where the CO06 transaction code is typically used to execute this process

Here are the steps for backorder processing

  1. Configure BOP Segment : Go to the Configure BOP Segment Fiori application and create two segments: one for "Win" and another for "Lose," applying the appropriate conditions. This setup allows you to reallocate the confirmed quantity from lower-priority customers sales orders to higher-priority customers sales orders.

  2. Configure BOP Variant : Go to the Configure BOP Variant Fiori application and create a variant as shown below. After creating the variant, click the Simulate button to validate it. If the simulation completes successfully, you can proceed to run backorder processing directly from the application. Otherwise, you can schedule a background job for this task.

Schedule BOP Run : Go to the Schedule BOP Run Fiori Application and select ATP: Backorder Processing Default Template. Maintain the scheduling details based on your business requirements. In the subsequent step, choose the variant created in the previous step and execute the background job. Upon completion, the system reallocates the confirmed quantities from low-priority customer sales orders to high-priority customer sales orders.

Note : This is a sample approach for performing backorder processing. You can define your own conditions when configuring the BOP segment

Please Let me Know If you have any concern.

Thanks, it's not the ideal process for what we have in mind, as we can't shift quantities manually for a specified material and have to let the BOP Run do its magic, but it is what it is. Thank you for your description.
